A recent write up on the show: “Noah’s body of work creates a conundrum for the viewer- one that is a feeling of mysterious voyeurism, yet in the same sense, an engaging intimacy. Experiencing his photographs initially feels cinematic, with the cast lighting, intelligent composition, and the subjects seemingly performing for the camera. The real payoff is in the details - the second read. It is what exposes these photographs for what they really are: genuine captured moments of intimacy. These moments encapsulate the immense closeness and intensity Noah takes on with his subjects when he puts his camera between them. The experience of his photos is so satisfying because of the juxtaposition between grandeur cinematic qualities and a deep underlay of emotions.
